I have done some research, which focus on how to know the knowledge of optical network area, but without learn the methods and tools to research.

How to is more important what you have done. If I know how to cover a field and get a good survey, if I know how to locate a point to be resolved, if I 

know how to resolved the problem by using the mathematic and computer, all the tools are important and will be used in the future work. And then I 

will learn how to find a key point and resolve it, and it is the key work of Ph.D.
