ESL 0630 : 591 Handling a traffic stop

F: I was having a great day until I saw the police car behind me with its loud siren and light's flashing.  I pull out the road and waited for the officer approach to my car.

M: May I see your driver license, proved insurance, and care registration please?

F: Let me get them out of my ground compartment.  Here they are.  What did I do wrong, officer?

M: Didn't you see the stop sign back there?

F: Stop sign? What stop sign? I didn't see any stop sign. 

M: Sit tight. And I will be right back.

F: I guess he was running my driver license and license plate number to make sure there are not outstanding warn for  me and for my car. He came back in a few minutes.

M: You ran a stop sign back there. And I have to give you a citation. 

F: That is really not necessary, officer.  I am really sorry I ran the stop sign. I will be more careful next time.

M: I suppose I could let you off with warning.  Just this once.

F:  Oh. Thank you so much. 

M: Drive more carefully future.

F: I will. I definitely will. 

Phew... That was closed. Good thing to toss incrementing evidence the window before I poll out the road.
